God wants to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask, think, or imagine. In another place, it says that no person has ever seen, heard, or even imagined the wonderful things that God has in store for those who love the Lord. But notice that it’s according to the power working in us. God’s power works in us by our faith or how we believe. Do you believe today that God wants to work in your life exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask or think? Do you believe He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness and blessing?
The Bible says that if we have faith the size of a tiny mustard seed, we can move mountains. And no matter how much faith we have, faith can grow in us by hearing, studying, and receiving the Word of God.
I encourage you today, make God’s Word a priority. Believe that He will do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think. He is faithful to His Word, and He will be faithful to fulfill every promise He’s made to you!
What is the meaning of Christmas to you?
They say it is the most wonderful day of the year. Of course, it really is. And every now and then, each one of of us always tries to make this day really special. It’s like one should have the money for this day because it’s Christmas. Like one should have a partner to spend this day with because it’s Christmas. Like a family should have plenty of food for this day because it’s Christmas. Most of the time, it’s like we see Christmas like a day where in everything should be ‘perfect’. Have you ever heard the complaints like:
It’s Christmas and yet I’m single!
Christmas and yet I am broke!
Christmas and yet I am jobless!
And yet I am sick!
And yet my wish isn’t granted still!
Beloved, let’s not forget the real meaning of Christmas. Let’s not forget it’s real essence. This isn’t a festival to be celebrated only once a year. It is a special day of the year that has to be in our minds everyday. Because on this day, a child was born for you.
Now, what if we take down all those Christmas decors? What if we don’t have festive food? What if we don’t have gifts? What if we’re single and loveless and jobless and sick and broke and your wish isn’t happening and then it’s Christmas? Would you still consider rejoicing because it’s Christmas? Of course. Yes. No doubt, yes! Because Christmas isn’t about being festive. This day, Christmas day, is all about remembering and celebrating the day where in a child was born for us.
Christmas day is wonderful because on this day, a child —Jesus was born for you.
Celebrate this day because on this day, a child was born for you.
Keep in your mind everyday that on this day, a child was born for you.
That a child was born to save you.
That a child was born to love you.
Beloved, the real meaning of Christmas is written and stated in John 3:16. It says:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Celebrate Christmas everyday. Celebrate Jesus’ birthday, our lover and our savior, everyday. May you have a wonderful CHRISTmas!
